Local Pickup Filtering
You can now filter and facet products by local pickup availability. Set a shopper's location and Layers returns only products with a variant available for pickup within a given radius — powering "available for pickup near me" experiences without a separate lookup.
Use the new variants.pickup_locations property with geoRadius, geoBoundingBox, geoPolygon, in, or notIn to filter by distance or specific locations, and request it as a facet to get back each matching location's name, address, pickup instructions, and distance in facetDisplay. Radius filters accept a unit of meters, kilometers, or miles and are capped at 100 km.
Locations sync automatically from Shopify's standard location sync — no extra setup required beyond enabling Local pickup on the locations you want searchable.
