Pin Anywhere

Pins no longer have to live at the top of a collection.

Drag a pin into any slot in the product grid and Layers holds it there, filling organic products in around it.

There is no mode to choose. Layers reads your arrangement: a connected run of pins starting at position 1 still front-packs at the top, the way pinning has always worked. The moment a pin has an organic product above it, it locks to its exact slot instead.

Mix both behaviors in the same rule, reorder freely, and Layers reclassifies on the fly. If two pinned slots ever collide, the pin cascades to the next open position so nothing gets dropped.

Use it to seat a hero product deep in the grid, hold a sponsored placement at slot 7, or anchor an item mid-page without disturbing the run up top.
