Saved Reports and Dashboards

Analytics-manage MCP tool panel showing a saved report with a bar chart visualization next to a dashboard with three cards laid out on a 12-column grid

Ask your assistant to save a useful LayersQL query, and it can now turn that into a report on its own. The new analytics-manage MCP tool lists, gets, creates, updates, and deletes the same saved reports and dashboards you already see under Analytics in Layers.

Add a VISUALIZE clause to a query and it returns a ready-to-draw chart config alongside the rows. Dashboard cards can reuse an existing report or create one inline, and each card's width decides its spot on a 12-column grid.

Creating, updating, and deleting requires the analytics edit permission on your store, and every response includes a link straight into the dashboard.
