Automatic Search Review for Named Tags

A named tag attribute moving from a Reviewing status to In search, labeled AI, after Layers reviews it

Named tags, the key:value product tags Layers turns into named_tags.{key} attributes, now get the same automatic search review your metafields already have. Layers samples each key's catalog values and turns search on for the ones that read as shopper-facing text.

Boolean, number, and date-shaped values stay off every time, and so do identifier-like keys, such as a per-product code where almost every value is unique.

Unlike a metafield Layers leaves unreviewed, a named tag it leaves off is gated everywhere. Its values skip the embedded document for every product until search comes back on.

The How AI sees this product panel and the diagnostics API now show named tags in their own section, next to tags and metafields.
