Group By Product Family

Product Family is now a groupable dimension in LayersQL. Add GROUP BY product_family to any products query, sort-order metric, or weighted-group blend to roll split listings, regional SKUs, and color/size variants up into one row per family — product_family_name resolves automatically alongside the totals.

Products without an active canonical family aren't dropped from the report; they keep their own row, keyed by product ID, so every product is still accounted for. This reuses the same family definitions you already set up for diversity in merchandising — no extra setup needed to start reporting by family.
