Signal Weights in Ranking Rules

Signal Weights action showing the store default and a rule override across semantic, keyword, engagement, freshness, and inventory weights

Now you can tune the model behind your rankings, not just the results.

Ranking rules can now carry a Signal Weights action that swaps your default signal mix for a specific query.

Boost inventory weight for "in stock" searches, or lean into image similarity for visual queries like "blue floral dress." The new mix only applies when the rule matches, so every other search keeps using your store's usual weights.

Signal Weights actions are available on query-scoped rules. Preview a rule before publishing it: since the action swaps the whole scoring model, not just a boost, result membership and facet counts can shift on matched queries.
