Spread Results and Search Diversity Controls

Spread Results card showing eight near-identical products from one family reduced to a varied top of results with a max of two per group

A search for "sneakers" shouldn't return one shoe in eight colors before anything else shows up. Ranking rules now have a Spread Results action that caps how many products from the same product family, or the same attribute value like vendor, can land in the top results for the queries that rule matches.

You choose the top-results window, the max per group, and an optional minimum number of distinct groups.

For a store-wide cap, the Ranking Relevancy page now has a Reranking & Diversity section with a Diversity dial and a Max per product family limit from 1 to 10.
