Layers Is Now Listed on 1800DTC
We're now listed on 1800DTC, the directory operators use to build their DTC stack. Our profile lives here. If you run a Shopify Plus store and you're weighing your options for search and merchandising, it's a quick way to see exactly what we do and who we do it for.
Why we joined a directory
I spent years at Proton building storefronts for Shopify Plus brands. The hardest part of almost every project was never the code. It was helping a team figure out which tools in their stack were actually worth the money, and which ones were enterprise price tags wrapped around software that had no idea what a metafield was.
Directories like 1800DTC exist to shorten that. Instead of sitting through five demos to work out who's Shopify-native and who's just Shopify-compatible, you get the shortlist in one place, next to the brands already running each tool. That's the kind of research I wish I'd had on the agency side, so putting Layers where operators are already looking was an easy call.
What's on our profile
The listing is a tight version of the full picture:
- AI Search that reads natural language, corrects typos, expands synonyms, and picks up intent inside a query like "red dress under $100"
- Merchandising your team runs without code: pin, boost, schedule rules, and preview every change on the live storefront before it publishes
- Visual Discovery with image search, similar products, and shop-the-look
- Recommendation Blocks tuned per surface, from the product page to the cart to checkout
- Real-time catalog sync, so a price change at 2pm shows up in search by 2:01
You'll also find the brands running on us, including Rainbow Shops, Kill Crew, Gorjana, and Negative Underwear, plus the case study on how Rainbow Shops rebuilt Salesforce-level merchandising on Shopify with us.
