Merchandising Rules now support a list of 'Expressions' or 'Conditions' that extend your targeted sort-order.

Expressions are applied after manual pins and before the primary sort order.

Example use case:

Group the products in the 'New Shoes' category by product type with the 'Best-selling' sort order.

Expressions:

product_type = Sneakers

product_type = Sandals

product_type = Boots

Result:

Products are sorted with all Sneakers grouped first, then Sandals, then Boots, each sub-sorted by sales then with the remaining shoes sorted sales appended to the results.
