Better Hand-Picked Recommendations for Blocks

Tailor manual block recommendations based on which product a customer is viewing.

Blocks with the manual strategy now support per-anchor product picks. Instead of showing the same hand-picked list for every product page, you can define unique recommendations for specific anchor products. When a customer views a product with anchor-specific picks configured, those products are returned. Otherwise, the block falls back to your default hand-picked list.

  • Product-specific pairings — Show different accessories for different clothing items in a "Complete the Look" block
  • Targeted cross-sells — Recommend specific add-ons that vary by anchor product
  • Default fallback — Products without anchor-specific picks still see your general hand-picked list
