Conditional Sort Expressions (Beta)

Add an "Only when…" condition to any metric or attribute term in a sort order. Products that fail the check tie at the bottom of that term and fall through to the next one instead of ranking on an unreliable signal — so you can require a minimum order count before sorting by conversion rate, favor new arrivals only while they're genuinely new, or stack confidence tiers without writing a custom scoring formula.

Soft Boost also now composes cleanly over date attributes and numeric metafields stored as text, so boosting by "recently published" or any numeric spec no longer risks a configuration error.

Both are available now to all merchants with a Beta badge.
