To ensure fast and reliable performance during large update bursts (such as big catalog changes, bulk edits, or large imports), we’ve introduced per-store write smoothing:

• Writes are now rate-limited to 10,000 writes per minute per store. This prevents sudden spikes from slowing down your store’s sync or search results.
• No data is ever lost or skipped. All writes are fully queued and processed in order—nothing is discarded, and no updates are missed.

This keeps search, merchandising, and analytics responsive even during heavy update windows, preventing slowdowns that could impact customers on your storefront.
