Live Previews for Manual Ranking Rules

Ranking rule editor preview showing a Before list and an After list of running shoe results, with arrows marking products that moved and a NEW badge on a product that entered the top results

Manual ranking rule editors now include a live preview. Enter a search query, then switch between Before and After to compare your top 10 results without the rule against your unsaved edits.

Arrows show how each product moved, and the panel shows the total result count. Nothing is saved or published, so you can keep adjusting actions until the order looks right.

The preview assumes the rule's targeting matches, so check your targeting separately before you publish. If a query redirects to a collection or URL, the panel shows the destination instead of products.
