Store Settings and Banner Types in MCP
Your AI assistant can now manage more of your store setup. The new store-settings-manage tool reads and updates crawler signature headers, Shopify sync preferences, inventory locations, your sales channel, and Shopify Markets behavior. Only the fields you send change, and signature header values stay write-only.
The new banner-types-manage tool lists, creates, updates, and deletes custom banner types, and can look up supported field types first. Both tools need the store.configure permission, and both save changes right away, so review before you update.
