How do I enable King Linked Options in Layers?
Install King Linked Options and create active product groups first. In Layers, open Settings, then Integrations, enable King Linked Options under Catalog, and save. Resync your catalog to populate existing products.
Will swatches appear automatically?
No. Your theme developer needs to request the group data from Layers and render it on your product cards. Enabling the integration syncs the data; it does not change your theme.
Does this combine sibling products into one search result?
No. Your products remain separate. The integration supplies their linked choices so your cards can show swatches and product links.
How quickly do group edits reach Layers?
We schedule a refresh every six hours, in addition to product resyncs. Group-only edits may wait for that refresh and its sync to finish. Availability reflects the last sync, not a live inventory check.
Do I need to create a Shopify access token?
No. We manage the Storefront access token needed to read King group data. Keep the Layers token in place so syncing can continue.
