How do I enable the Kairos integration?
There is nothing to turn on. Layers detects Kairos on your store automatically. Install Kairos from the Shopify App Store and the two work together from there.
Do I need a separate Kairos account?
Yes. Kairos is installed and billed through the Shopify App Store. Layers only detects that it is protecting your storefront.
Will Kairos block Layers or slow down search?
No. Layers requests come from shopper sessions Kairos has already verified, so search and browse behave exactly as before.
What happens to sessions Kairos blocks?
They never load your storefront, so they never send events to Layers. Your search analytics, conversion rates, and merchandising signals only count real shoppers.
