How do I enable the Stockful integration?
Open the Integrations section in the Layers dashboard, find Stockful, and toggle it on. No theme edits are required.
Do I need a separate Stockful account?
Yes. You need an active Stockful subscription writing inventory data to your Shopify catalog before enabling the integration in Layers.
Can I use Stockful attributes as storefront facets?
No. Stockful rewrites these values on every inventory movement, so they change too frequently for facet counts to stay accurate. They are available in merchandising rules, conditions, and sort orders instead.
How current is the inventory data in Layers?
New and updated products sync automatically going forward. After enabling the integration, trigger a catalog resync — or use the Resync inventory data button in the integration panel — so existing products pick up inventory attributes right away.
