How do I connect Translate & Adapt?
Publish your languages and translations in Shopify. We read supported translations through Shopify sync, not a separate Translate & Adapt toggle. Your storefront must pass the shopper locale when requesting Layers results.
Does Layers translate my catalog for me?
No. Translate & Adapt creates and manages the translations. We return the supported content you have already translated and synced. Missing translated fields retain their original content.
Does this translate my entire storefront?
No. This covers supported catalog content in Layers responses, not every theme label, app widget, or checkout message. Your theme remains responsible for its language selector and storefront interface translations.
